An Old-Fashioned Picnic

South Jordan City put on an Old Fashioned Picnic a few months ago. It was the cutest thing ever! After parking your car down the street, you got to ride in on a horse and buggy, not so much a buggy as a wagon I guess. They had popcorn, sno cones and old fashioned games to play. Don't worry, Andy and I took the liberty to dress-up in our old-fashioned wear...no no it was not mandatory or really even advertised as optional!

Bye Bye Jimbo...see you in 2 years!

I'm still trying to catch up on events from the summer. Here are some photos from dropping Jim off at the MTC. Three weeks later he was off to Georgia. It's been only four months and I sure do miss him.

Father's Day with the Boyers

We went to Murray Park to feed the ducks for Father's Day with the Boyers.

S'mores, Croquet and BBQ on the Beach

We had the annual BBQ on the beach at Bear Lake. This time we played Croquet...a first at Bear Lake. It was the funniest game of Croquet I've ever played. Ben got "poison" first and the rest of us were trying to "run" away from him. Creig even built an obstacle of leaves and sticks to avoid Ben's ball from "killing" him.

Aerobics in the Morning at B.L.

One morning up at Bear Lake, Amber and I were doing Jillian Michael's workout video. All the kids came upstairs and wanted to participate. I thought we were going to die laughing...it was the cutest thing ever.

Bear Lake

Andy and I went for a drive around the lake one night. It was so beautiful to see the sunset on the lake. This was one of the few times it wasn't raining that week.
